AIGAIPPAI MONAKA [TOKIWADO]

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon!
Do you have any plan to present chocolates to anyone?

Valentine’s Day in Japan used to be the day women give chocolates and other gifts to their boyfriends, husbands or someone they are interested in, and etc. However, the custom is changing and now some of them buy chocolates for themselves as treats.

If a person you plan to send a valentine’s gift are not into sweet chocolates, there are some Japanese sweets ‘wagashi’ which would be a nice gift.

Today, we want to introduce this *monaka called ‘Aigaippai Monaka (愛がいっぱいもなか).’

There are white and pink heart-shaped monakas.

They come in a box, so you can share them with your friends or coworkers on Valentine’s Day.

*Monaka is a Japanese sweet made of red bean jam filling between two crisp wafers made from mochi.
